Before working on Couple, Oleg’s was focused on how users interface with 3D CAD software and launched a previous company with Anton Krutiansky. And prior to that, he worked in architectural design firms in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Moscow, and Toronto. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Waterloo.
Anton Krutiansky Co-Founder & CPO
Anton is a veteran software engineer with over 10 years of development experience in a wide range of industries including media, broadcasting, finance, and education. Anton specializes in software architecture, algorithm development, performance optimization, networking, and graphics. He holds a BASc in Honours Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Michael Petrov Co-Founder & CTO
Michael is a software entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience. His recent achievements include developing award winning iPhone database application, co-authoring two programming books, and deploying a niche server hosting company. As a developer, Michael specializes in solving complex problems for mobile devices focusing on networking, synchronization, and data exchange between platforms.

Alan Traeger Marketing Director
Alan is an entrepreneur & artist that has lived and worked in at least three continents, primarily to extend his library of known restaurants and humor his passion for locally-global food experimentation. Before joining Couple he co-founded a wine discovery company in Paris, France where he also consulted with startups on marketing, business, and design challenges. Alan likes swimming with sea lions, prefers film to digital, and is allergic to avocados.

Our Story
TenthBit Inc. was founded by 5 founders in 2012, in sunny California. The founders, having been disconnected from their significant others while being a part of the YC program, and found that they were repurposing many other services to talk to their partners. After many frustrating skype calls, and international text messages, they decided to build Couple. The app now has over a million downloads on iOS and Android and has helped couples send over 400 million messages to each other.
